How is pricing calculated?

Pricing is based entirely on the number of active residents you have — nothing else. The more residents, the lower the per-resident rate: from £7.50/resident for up to 20 residents, down to £5.00/resident for 101–150. Can I add multiple care homes or locations?

Yes — whether you run a single care home, multiple homes, or separate departments and units within one home, BoolCare adapts to your structure. All plans include unlimited care homes, locations, departments, and sites at no extra cost. Whether you run one home or twenty, you pay only for your active residents, never for the number of locations.

What happens to AI queries if I reach my monthly limit?

Accepted Answer

AI queries are included at 10 per resident per month — generous enough to cover care plan generation, risk assessments, and daily assistant use. In the unlikely event you use them all up, you can purchase a one-off top-up pack (100 queries for £3.50, 500 for £15, or 2,000 for £50 — valid until the end of the current month). Alternatively, your full query allowance resets automatically on the 1st of each month.

What happens if I downgrade to fewer residents?

If you currently have more active residents than your new plan allows, you'll need to archive or discharge the excess residents before the downgrade takes effect. The app will show you exactly which residents are affected and let you make the change directly. This ensures your active residents always have full access to their records.

Question 5

Where is my data stored, and is it GDPR compliant?

Accepted Answer

All BoolCare data is stored exclusively on UK servers and never leaves the United Kingdom. The platform is built to meet UK GDPR requirements: we process only the data needed to deliver the service, maintain full audit logs, support right-to-erasure requests, and provide a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) as standard. We are registered with the ICO.

How accurate are the AI-generated care plans and risk assessments?

BoolCare's AI models have been trained against UK care standards, CQC requirements, and established clinical frameworks. The AI generates documentation as a structured starting point — your qualified staff review and sign off every document before it becomes part of the resident's record. Think of it as a highly capable drafter, not an autonomous decision-maker. All AI outputs are clearly labelled as AI-generated until reviewed.

Does BoolCare work offline?

Yes. BoolCare is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that can be installed directly from the browser on any iOS, Android, or desktop device — no app store needed. Once installed, staff can submit forms, complete daily notes, and record observations even without an internet connection. Everything queued offline syncs automatically when connectivity is restored.

Can you help us migrate from our current care system?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. All plans include migration assistance: we work with you to export data from your existing system and import it into BoolCare. Our onboarding team manages the process and most setups are complete within one week. There's no additional charge for migration.
